June, 2010
Dear Parents,
Our Graduation Program was an unmitigated success! I know I say it every year but there's always such a high after the program along with some sadness. We really love our children and will miss the children. We're so proud of them!
My staff is excellent, dedicated, and work very hard to ensure our children are well cared for, safe, loved, and are learning. Our children are bright, confident, caring, and comfortable in all situations.
A special thanks, to Miss Kathy, our "cooker" for setting up the refreshments and dressing up the tables for after the plays.
We’d also want to thank Dana, who works for our cleaning company for setting up the chairs and making the gym ready for our program.
Last Sunday's Celebration of Children held in our church was a wonderful testament to our children. The luncheon was very tasty. Some of the selections were peanut butter and fluff sandwiches, pizza bites, chicken fingers, chips, salads, and loads of fruit. We finished up with Stewart's make your own sundaes along with a delicious cake.
We're already making plans for the Summer Program. I know Miss Andi, the "Big Kid's” teacher plans on taking more field trips than previous summers. The younger children will also have a marvelous time with all the plans their teacher's are making.
The end of the year picnic is scheduled for this Friday, June 18th, rain or shine. All our families are invited to join us in this celebration.
Some of our parents have asked if anyone has a video of our June plays. Their cameras either malfunctioned or they forgot to bring them. They're more than willing to pay for a copy. Please call the office or see me! Thanks.
Miss Andi will e-mail you still pictures if you request them! Please see attached form.
The last day of school is Thursday, June 24th. The Summer Program begins Tuesday, June 29th. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to call me at 463-6495.
Gail
P.S. If you haven't registered for the Summer Program, please do so immediately!
Summer Program: Please remember to bring a towel, bathing suit, water shoes for under the sprinkler, and the child's own and labeled bottle of sunscreen. Please be sure all items are labeled. Thanks.
