Dear Parents,
National Wear Red Day falls on Friday, February 5th.  We are hoping for donations that will go to the American Heart Association.  Please donate whatever you can and receive a pin and receipt for your taxes.  See your teachers or Gail/Karen in the office.

The children will be attending the “Step Off” performance at the Palace Theatre Friday, Feb. 5th.  celebrating Black History month.  Thanks again to Jordon Johnson’s dad Kevin!  He has gotten tickets at no cost to us for the performance. 

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010 is Ash Wednesday.  We will be providing ashes at the 9:00 Chapel services for the children.   If you wish your child to receive ashes on their foreheads at this time, please complete the permission slip in your mailbox and return to the teachers.  This form also explains the meaning of the ashes and why Christians everywhere participate in this ceremony.

Conferences should be completed or almost completed by now.  We’re all very proud of our children’s achievements and expect more for the rest of the year.
Are you aware that I’m the Charter Holder Rep for the Cub Scout Pack 211!  We’ve been representing the Pack for years.
