Dear Parents,

The new school year began with lovely weather.  We take advantage of going outside whenever possible.  It's like we're stocking up the warmth before the winter sets in!

I always look forward to seeing new faces and I love to see our "old" faces!  We are looking forward to wonderful, exciting, and faith filled experiences.

We're very glad to have Mrs. Mary Carkner on our staff.  Mary is fulfilling a few positions at St. Matt's.  We combined the part time PreK children with the Kindergarten children to give all the benefits of playing, working, and socializing with each other.  In the PM Mary is in charge of the "Big Kid's Program".  Mary has many years experiences in school settings.  Welcome to our school family "Miss Mary".

Jaime Kitonyi is back on staff Monday, Wednesday, and Friday @ 4:00.  Jaime is Madysen's mom!

This Friday, Oct. 10th. is Maureen's last day for awhile.  Yvonne Pringle begins work on Tuesday, Oct. 14th.  Yvonne has her degree in Early Childhood Ed. and is very experienced.  Yvonne will work in the afternoons until closing.

Wednesday, Oct. 22nd.=Kindergarten & four-year-olds   Please view the fliers to see the background and dress your children accordingly.

Many thanks to Dave Mac for spreading the woodchips on our playground.  Also to Ray O. for scheduling the tree service to trim/cut down the trees in the playground and driveway!

The classes will be celebrating Halloween with parties.  Please see  your teachers about costumes and treats!  School has reflective treat bags for each of our children.

All the classes went to Indian Ladder Farms for apple picking, to see the baby animals, and observe how cider is made.  The trips to the pumpkin patches will occur this month.

Lauren was an absolutely gorgeous bride!  The wedding was beautiful and we look forward to Lauren's return.

We'll be celebrating Fire Prevention week in October.  The children will learn how to stop, drop, and roll among concepts  of preventing fires.

Everyone should have received a fund raiser packet on your mailboxes from Genevieve's.  Thank you for your continued support of your school.

We're doing everything we can to keep tuition costs down.  Please help by paying your tuition on time!

Please remember that school closes a 5:45 PM.  Staff do have other lives and need to leave at the scheduled time!  The (deterrent) charge of $1.00 per minute is the rate that it is owed to the staff that is delayed.  If not paid, the amount will be put on your tuition statement.
